Determination of Saccharin Sodium in Food by Gas Chromatography

open access: yesFood Hygiene and Safety Science (Shokuhin Eiseigaku Zasshi), 1971
Several kinds of determination methods of saccharin sodium in foods have been published, but most of them do not base on the specific reaction for saccharin, for example the method of the neutral titration. In this report, gas chromatographic method for the new determination of saccharin sodium was studied. The principle of this method bases on the fact ...

[Effects of sodium saccharin on the tracheal epithelium of mice].

open access: yesMedicina, 1998
The present study evaluated the effect of sodium saccharin on mouse tracheal epithelium, in relation to its possible structural alterations. Mice of the C3H strain were fed with standard pellets supplemented with sodium saccharin for 180 days. At that time the mice were sacrificed and their trachea were processed for transmission electronic microscopy.
