Corticosterone and Mitochondrial Efficiency Are Associated With Changes in DNA Oxidative Damage During an Acute Stress Response in Leach's Storm‐Petrels (Hydrobates leucorhous)

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological and Integrative Physiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The ability of organisms to effectively respond to challenges is critical for survival. We investigated how an acute stressor affected corticosterone, mitochondrial function, and DNA oxidative damage in a wild population of Leach's storm‐petrels (Hydrobates leucorhous).

Autosomal Dominant Hyper‐IgE Syndrome Patients Retain IL10‐Producing preTh17‐Cells That Are Activated by Opportunistic Pathogens and Support IgE Production

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
IL‐10 producing CCR6+Th‐cells are central memory T‐cells that express ROR‐γt and differentiate to Th17‐cells via an autocrine loop of STAT3‐activating cytokines (preTh17). STAT3‐deficient AD‐HIES patients lack Th17‐ and Tfh17‐cells but retain preTh17‐ and Th1/17‐cells.

The impact of Sars-Cov-2 infection on the wound healing of cervical treatment in patients with squamous intraepithelial lesions: a retrospective cohort study

open access: yesFrontiers in Medicine, 2023
ObjectiveSARS-CoV-2 infection has been associated with an increase in inflammatory factors, a weakening of the immune system, and a potentially delay in wound healing following surgery or ablative treatment.

Model-Based Design and Testbed for CubeSat Attitude Determination and Control System with Magnetic Actuation

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study introduces a robust model-based framework designed for the verification and validation (V&V) of Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCSs) in nanosatellites, focusing on magnetic actuation while still being applicable to larger ...

Optimized SPE‐HPLC‐FLD Method for the Simultaneous Determination of Olaparib, Propranolol, and Furosemide in Human Urine

open access: yesBiomedical Chromatography, Volume 40, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Olaparib belongs to the PARP inhibitors and is widely used as an anticancer drug. Due to frequent side effects, it is usually co‐administered with an antihypertensive, such as propranolol and/or an antidiuretic, such as furosemide. In this study, a highly sensitive HPLC‐FLD method was developed for the simultaneous determination of the three ...

Utilization of battery analysis methodologies for parametrization and enhancement of an electrochemically approximated simulation model approach for thermal management battery system tests

open access: yesAutomotive and Engine Technology
The exact investigation of the thermal management of battery electric vehicles requires the precise simulation of the processes inside the cell. However, there is a broad trade-off between the complexity and manageability of the simulative methodology on

Exploring Diverse Glycone Preferences of Aspergillus rutinosidases

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 11, 3 June 2026.
Rutinosidases from Aspergillus niger (AnRut) and A. oryzae (AoRut) catalyze hydrolysis and transglycosylation with non‐natural glycosides as donors, enabling glycosylation of alcoholic and phenolic acceptors. AnRut exhibits broad glycone promiscuity, while AoRut has a narrower substrate scope.

Neural Network Predictive Control Approach Design for Adaptive Cruise Control

open access: yesInternational Journal of Technology, 2020
As one part of the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), adaptive cruise control (ACC) is introduced to reduce the possibility of traffic accidents by controlling the throttle and the pressure on the brakes to maintain a safe distance from the ...

Soft Neural Interfaces for Circuit‐Level Analysis of Magnetogenetic Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease Models

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 22, 12 June 2026.
ABSTRACT Magnetogenetic deep brain stimulation (MG‐DBS) represents a wireless neuromodulation that has demonstrated long‐lasting behavioral benefits in Parkinson's disease models. However, the circuit‐level mechanisms underlying these therapeutic effects have remained uncharacterized due to limitations of conventional neural interfaces.

Development of an electrochemically approximated simulation model and a hardware substitution cell approach for thermal management battery system tests

open access: yesAutomotive and Engine Technology
Battery tests require a high degree of safety-related preparation and constant monitoring of the operating parameters to guarantee the smooth running of tests without incidents or exceptional events such as a thermal runaway.
