Software Pipelining for Quantum Loop Programs

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, 2023
We propose a method for performing software pipelining on quantum for-loop programs, exploiting parallelism in and across iterations. We redefine concepts that are useful in program optimization, including array aliasing, instruction dependency and resource conflict, this time in optimization of quantum programs.

Linearized State-Space Model-Based Attitude Control for Rocket With Four Controllable Fins—Part 1-1: Basic Modeling and Identification

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
In this study, we present, analyze, and validate a linear state-space model for a simplified rocket with four fins. The model is validated experimentally using a wind tunnel. The proposed model consists of two main elements: a rocket body and fins.

Software Pipelining of Nested Loops [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Software pipelining is a technique to improve the performance of a loop by overlapping the execution of several iterations. The execution of a software-pipelined loop goes through three phases: prolog, kernel, and epilog. Software pipelining works best if most of the time is spent in the kernel phase rather than in the prolog or epilog phases. This can

Software In the Loop Simulation for Robot Manipulators

open access: yesEngineering, Technology & Applied Science Research, 2017
In the last decades, the classical verification of robotic software component is postponed until the code is developed enough to function in real hardware. For this reason, the verification of code at early stages is essential to reduce development costs and necessary time for embedded systems such as robot manipulator. Therefore, Software In the Loop (

Single-dimension software pipelining for multidimensional loops [PDF]

open access: yesACM Transactions on Architecture and Code Optimization, 2004
Traditionally, software pipelining is applied either to the innermost loop of a given loop nest or from the innermost loop to outer loops. This paper proposes a three-step approach, called single-dimension software pipelining (SSP) , to software pipeline a loop nest at an arbitrary loop level that has a rectangular ...

Designing MPC algorithms for velocity control of brushed DC motor and verification with SIL tests

open access: yesAutomatika, 2023
The model predictive control (MPC) tries to find the best control output by optimizing among the predictions. In this context, determining the objective function of optimization is a critical process. This study discusses the velocity control of the mini
