Sex‐Modulated TACSTD2 Methylation and Hormone‐Receptor Axis Interactions in Glioblastoma: Insights Toward Mechanistic Understanding

open access: yesComputational and Systems Oncology, Volume 6, Issue 1, December 2026.
Sex‐stratified analyses of the TCGA and CGGA cohorts have identified promoter‐proximal TACSTD2 CpG sites where methylation shows opposite survival associations in males and females, is independent of copy number, and correlates with TACSTD2 expression.

A Business Case for Software Process Improvement

open access: yes, 2008
There is substantial evidence that a successful software process improvement (SPI) project will result in improvements in productivity, quality, schedule, and business value. There is also evidence that most SPI projects fail.

Dual Action of Dipyridamole in Experimental Rheumatoid Arthritis: Suppression of Joint Inflammation and Upregulation of Muscle Anabolism via Adenosine and AMPK Pathways

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 78, Issue 7, Page 1535-1553, July 2026.
Objective Rheumatoid sarcopenia, characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and function, is a frequent comorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), linked to prolonged, severe systemic inflammation. Purinergic signaling (adenosine, AMP, and ATP) plays a crucial role in inflammation, myogenesis, and muscle hypertrophy.

Systematic review and scoring‐based selection of pharmacokinetic models for precision dosing of vancomycin in neonates and children

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 7, Page 2028-2048, July 2026.
This systematic review identified 112 population pharmacokinetic models of vancomycin in neonates and children. To support rational model selection for model‐informed precision, we developed and applied expert‐driven, transparent criteria that integrate both methodological rigour and clinical relevance.

Molecular profiling of breast cancer pleural effusions using cytology specimens: Impact of sample source and cytological features on next‐generation sequencing performance

open access: yesCancer Cytopathology, Volume 134, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Malignant effusions in breast cancer are a minimally invasive source for molecular profiling. Effusion‐derived cytology specimens, cell blocks (CB) and post‐ThinPrep PreservCyt (PTPC) supernatant, are reliable sources for molecular testing but differ in DNA concentration and turnaround time (TAT).

Extraction of Soybean and Pea Protein Isolates to Evaluate Therapeutic Potential Against Dexamethasone‐Induced Osteoporosis: In Vivo and in Silico Insights

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
(This graphical abstract demonstrates a comprehensive research study investigating the potential of soybean and pea protein isolates as therapeutic agents for osteoporosis, conducted through both in vivo (animal‐based) and in silico (computational) approaches). ABSTRACT Soybean and pea protein isolates contain essential amino acid that may support bone
