Realization of a classical Ruddlesden Popper type bilayer nickelate in Sr3Ni2−x Al x O7−δ with unusual Ni4+

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials
The discovery of 80 K superconductivity in bilayer La3Ni2O7 at pressures greater than 14 GPa presents a unique opportunity to study a novel class of high-temperature superconductors.

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Solid-State Synthesis of Conjugated Nanoporous Polycarbazoles

open access: yesACS Macro Letters, 2017
A novel solid-state synthetic approach has been developed for the generation of conjugated nanoporous polymer networks. Using mechanochemical-assisted oxidative coupling polymerization, we demonstrated a rapid and solvent-free synthesis of conjugated polycarbazoles with high porosities and promising CO2 storage abilities.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Role of organic/inorganic-sulfur doping on photocatalytic behavior of mesoporous bimetallic oxides heterojunction

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2019
A series of novel sulfur-doped mesoporous bimetallic oxides with controllable structure and property were synthesized for acid-induced photo-Fenton. The one-pot sol-gel strategy allowed high-dispersion and strong adhesion of different organic-/inorganic ...

Comparison of Glyphosate Detection by Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy Using Gold and Silver Nanoparticles at Different Laser Excitations

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Glyphosate is one of the most widely used pesticides in the world, but it has been shown to persist in the environment and therefore needs to be detected in food. In this work, the detection of glyphosate by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) using

Identification of a Shiga toxin A‐derived peptide internalized into Gb3 receptor‐bearing cells via interaction with the Shiga toxin B subunit

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

Structure‐forward targeting of claudins with synthetic binders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Claudins form the paracellular barriers between epithelial and endothelial tissues at tight junctions and are targets for molecular binders with the goal of modulating barrier permeability. Claudin‐binding molecules are relevant in drug delivery or in altering claudin interactions with disease‐causing proteins.

Sorption of La3+ cations by zeolites from aqueous solutions

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов
It is shown that the sorption of lanthanum cations by synthetic aluminosilicate zeolite, unlike natural ones, increases both in acidic and neutral conditions by 4 times (from 8 to 26%) and 8 times (from 4 to 33%), and the sorption capacity increases by ...
