This study presents the first demonstration of stable sub‐50‐micron single‐cell GPM vesicles fabricated through the intrinsic self‐assembly of an amphiphilic copolymer. Hierarchical assembly of cell containing GPM vesicles into microspheres enable tunable, sustained cell delivery with immune protection.

Ionic Gating of Liquid‐Crystal‐Like Pteridine Assemblies Enables Tunable Light Scattering
Tunable optical properties emerge through developmentally regulated ionic gating, which transforms disordered, ultraviolet (UV)‐absorbing organelles into concentrically ordered, liquid‐crystal‐like light scatterers. By integrating analyses of pteridine composition, potassium‐dependent assembly, hierarchical ultrastructure, and optical behavior, the ...

Carbon fibre production using an ecofriendly water-soluble precursor
Carbon fibre (CF) is a lightweight next-generation material with numerous applications. CF production is predominantly based on the polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor because of the high tensile strength of PAN-based CFs (PAN-CFs). However, expensive and toxic organic solvents are required for PAN-CF production.

3D‐Printed Corneal Substitutes: Materials, Fabrication, and Preclinical Progress
Successful clinical translation of 3D‐printed corneal substitutes relies on the interplay between the bioink properties, cellular component, and the fabrication process. These factors influence the critical properties of the construct, including optical transparency, mechanical stability, suture retention, that ultimately govern long‐term stromal ...

Application of soluble dietary fibres in treatment of hyperlipoproteinemias.
Soluble dietary fibres as ingredients of our meal play an important role in both the prevention and treatment of hyperlipoproteinemias. We studied the effect of highly esterified sorbitol-granulated apple pectin on lipid metabolism in patients with hyperlipoproteinemia.
