Looking for a solution … to the solution?

Annals of Emergency Medicine, 2004
Emergency physicians and other emergency health care workers are well aware of crowding issues in our emergency departments (EDs). Multiple factors contribute to ED crowding, including those that affect patient throughput. Previous reports have described some of the issues and their relative importance.

The Solution Is a Solution.

The Israel Medical Association journal : IMAJ, 2022
Infections in neonates with herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) following circumcision due to Metzitzah Be'Peh (MBP) performed by a Mohel occur each year in small numbers. One solution to this problem is the use of a mucus extractor device instead of MBP, which has been authorized by some rabbis.

Solute-Solute Interactions in Aqueous Solutions

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1968
Solute-solute interactions in aqueous solutions of nonelectrolytes are interpreted using both lattice and distribution function theories of the dissolved state. Experimental activity data of high precision can be obtained from the literature for aqueous solutions of many nonelectrolytes.

Solutions Innovation, Solutions Engineering for Industry Solutions

IEEE International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE'05), 2005
What is Innovation? It’s not always about inventing something entirely new. Innovation occurs at the intersection of invention and business insight. Creating industry solutions is not about doing something new for every client’s problem, it is about creatively solving business problems with reusable assets or building blocks.

Specific solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions in organic solutions of indole

Chemical Physics Letters, 1973
Abstract The temperature dependence of the UV absorption spectra of indole and N-methylindole in propyl ether and in 3-methylpentane was investigated. The results indicate the existence of hydrogen bond interactions between indole and the ether, and also the existence of self-associations of indole through bonding in the non-polar solvent.

Solutions and Solute

Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics of North America, 1990
In the formation of calculi within the urinary tract, two fundamental factors are critical when crystals precipitate and stones form: They are solute and the solution itself, which must be oversaturated if crystals are to form and to grow. Several elements present in the urine influence solutions and solute and, thus, stone formation. Because all forms

Solute-solute correlation in aqueous solution of tetramethylurea

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1997
Abstract The HH radial distribution function obtained by of a wide-angle neutron scattering experiment on a 2 molar aqueous solution of tetramethylurea at 10°C using the isotope substitution method is reported.

Solutions, Solutions

2020
AbstractThis chapter takes stock of the book’s First Path. Positing that death can be bad for us because of the deprivations of passing away has three strengths: it explains how there is an identifiable subject who is harmed, it locates the time at which they are harmed, and it clarifies how death is different from pre-vital nonexistence.
