Enhancing the efficiency of a wavelength-dispersive spectrometer based on a slitless design using a single-bounce monocapillary

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation
This paper introduces a novel slit-less wavelength-dispersive spectrometer design that incorporates a single-bounce monocapillary with the goal of positioning the sample directly on the Rowland circle, thereby eliminating the need for a traditional ...

Sensitivity Analysis of Microwave Spectrometer for Atmospheric Temperature and Humidity Sounding on the New Generation Fengyun Satellite

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2023
The vertical profiles, spatiotemporal distribution, and trends of temperature and humidity in the middle atmosphere are significant for numerical weather prediction and the analysis of global climate change.

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Potential of next-generation imaging spectrometers to detect and quantify methane point sources from space

open access: yesAtmospheric Measurement Techniques, 2019
. We examine the potential for global detection of methane plumes from individual point sources with the new generation of spaceborne imaging spectrometers (EnMAP, PRISMA, EMIT, SBG, CHIME) scheduled for launch in 2019–2025.

Identification of the plant mitochondrial OrfX protein: A mass spectrometry approach

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The mitochondrial genome of plants contains an open reading frame, orfx, which encodes a rare protein that has so far escaped mass spectrometric detection. The protein resembles the c‐subunit of bacterial twin‐arginine‐motif‐dependent protein translocases (TatC).

Strategies for high performance and scalable on-chip spectrometers

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Photonics, 2020
Miniature spectrometers provide promising potential for on-chip or in situ optical analysis. In recent years there has been significant progress towards reducing the size and improving the performance of these spectrometers.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

The OPERA muon spectrometers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The OPERA experiment will study v, to v, oscillations through T appearance on the 732 km long CERN to Gran Sasso baseline. The magnet yokes of the two muon spectrometers are instrumented with 48 planes of high resistivity bakelite Resistive Plate ...
