A spectrometer based on a Sagnac interferometer, where one of the mirrors is replaced by a transmission grating, is introduced. Since the action of a transmission grating is reversible, both directions experience the same diffraction at a given wavelength. At the output, the crossed wavefronts are imaged onto a camera, where their Fizeau fringe pattern

The European hybrid spectrometer [PDF]
The final version of the European hybrid spectrometer (EHS) is described. EHS was used in the NA27 experiment to study charm particles produced in 360 GeV c π-p and 400 GeV c pp interactions. A rapid cycling, high resolution bubble chamber (LEBC) produced bubbles of 17 μm diameter which were measured with a precision of 2.5 μm.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Concept for improved radiometric calibration of radiance sources at the CHB facility [PDF]
The Calibation Home Base (CHB) is a facility for the calibration of airborne imaging spectrometers such as APEX, ROSIS and in the future ARES, and for field spectrometers. Absolute radiometric calibration in the spectral range of 350–2500 nm is currently

Characteristic Analysis of Compact Spectrometer Based on Off-Axis Meta-Lens
Ultra-compact spectrometers with high-resolution and/or broadband features have long been pursued for their wide application prospects. The off-axis meta-lens, a new species of planar optical instruments, provides a unique and feasible way to realize ...

Arrayed waveguide grating spectrometers for astronomical applications: new results. [PDF]
One promising application of photonics to astronomical instrumentation is the miniaturization of near-infrared (NIR) spectrometers for large ground- and space-based astronomical telescopes. Here we present new results from our effort to fabricate arrayed

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

The Review of Bipolar Ion Mobility Spectrometers [PDF]
Access full text - https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-31866-6_113The review considers the design of ion mobility spectrometers, which allow for the conditionally simultaneous detection of both positive and negative ions.
