Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Design of a New Type Speed Regulation Device and Research of Fuzzy PID Control

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2019
A type of stepless speed regulation device is designed based on the differential gear train and hydro-viscous speed regulation theory, and the main parameters of the planetary gear set are determined, then transmission structure is designed in ...

Molecular cancer prevention: Intercepting disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Oncological practice must evolve, from treating established tumours to proactive cancer interception before clinical manifestation. This will require mechanistic insight into tumour initiation, validated biomarkers of early disease development and redesigned clinical trials, enabling cancer interception to become a core pillar of oncology with the ...

Optimization technology of hydroelectric power plant unit speed control based on the constriction coefficient-based particle swarm gravitational search algorithm fusion model

open access: yesResults in Engineering
In recent years, the integration of wind power into hydropower networks has become a trend. But after wind power is connected to the grid, its unstable power will have an impact on the stability of the power grid.

Shutdown characteristics of the Mod-O wind turbine with aileron controls [PDF]

open access: yes
Horizontal-axis wind turbines utilize partial or full variable blade pitch to regulate rotor speed. The weight and costs of these systems indicated a need for alternate methods of rotor control.

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

How Large Are the Welfare Gains from Technological Innovation Induced by Environmental Policies? [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper examines whether the welfare gains from technological innovation that reduces future abatement costs are larger or smaller than the “Pigouvian” welfare gains from optimal pollution control.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

POLITICS, ECONOMICS AND THE REGULATION OF DIRECT INTERSTATE SHIPPING IN THE WINE INDUSTRY [PDF]

open access: yes
In 1986, the State of California passed legislation restricting the direct importation of wine from another state by California residents unless the originating state allowed the reciprocal privilege of direct shipment from California wineries to ...

Conflict resolution by speed regulation

open access: yes, 2012
To overcome the traffic growth predicted by current ATM research programs in Europe and the US, we propose a new model to avoid conflicts based on small speed regulations, as depicted in the ERASMUS project [6], with interval conflict constraints as in [2].
