Unveiling the Impact of C60–O2 Interaction on the Performance and Characterization of Perovskite Solar Cells

Air exposure of the C60 electron‐transport layer (ETL) in p‐i‐n perovskite solar cells causes rapid O2 intercalation, forming deep trap states and altering charge carrier balance at the perovskite/ETL interface, thereby increasing non‐radiative recombination.

Strictly singular non-compact diagonal operators on HI spaces [PDF]

We construct a Hereditarily Indecomposable Banach space $\eqs_d$ with a Schauder basis \seq{e}{n} on which there exist strictly singular non-compact diagonal operators. Moreover, the space $\mc{L}_{\diag}(\eqs_d)$ of diagonal operators with respect to the basis \seq{e}{n} contains an isomorphic copy of $\ell_{\infty}(\N)$.

Harnessing Negative Photochromism in Styryl Cyanines for Light‐Modulated Proton Transport

We show how photo switchable styryl cyanines undergo an extremely efficient photochemical ring‐closing reaction upon irradiation. Furthermore, substituents on the ring and the nature of their surroundings can be used to tune their chemistry, kinetics, and photochemical properties. Finally, we demonstrate how these molecules can be used as smart dopants

Conformal models for hypercolumns in the primary visual cortex V1 [PDF]

We propose a differential geometric model of hypercolumns in the primary visual cortex V1 that combines features of the symplectic model of the primary visual cortex by A. Sarti, G. Citti and J. Petitot and of the spherical model of hypercolumns by P. Bressloff and J. Cowan. The model is based on classical results in Conformal Geometry.
