Human interparietal bones: Examination of existing classification schemes and development of a graphic library depicting variations

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Examples from the graphic library depicting morphologies of interparietal bones, ossicles at lambda, mendosal sutures, and intrasutural ossicles. Abstract Due to its complex ossification during development, the superior region of the human occipital bone is a frequent site of supernumerary bones known as interparietal bones.

Asymmetric Synthesis of Propargylic and Allenic Silanes, Germanes, and Stannanes

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, EarlyView.
Organotetrel compounds are important reagents with broad applications in chemical industries and natural product synthesis. This review provides a summary of strategies for the synthesis of propargylic and allenic organotetrels in their enantioenriched forms.

Sulfur‐Mediated Ring‐Opening Cyclization of Spirocyclopropanes for the Construction of Benzo[b]thiophene Skeleton

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, EarlyView.
Regioselective ring‐opening cyclization of spirocyclopropanes with NaSH proceeded smoothly, and subsequent addition of an acid afforded tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophen‐4‐ones that could be converted into the 4‐hydroxybenzo[b]thiophenes. This protocol provides an alternative synthetic method to access benzo[b]thiophenes without using multisubstituted ...

The Effect of Regioisomerism on the TADF Properties of Organic Dyes

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
The properties of TADF emitters are highly dependent on the chosen electron donor and acceptor, as well as the π‐system that links them together. Herein, we show that regioisomerism affects the physical properties of spirobifluorene‐based systems in solution, thin films and crystals.
