Participatory Policy Development: Reflections on Designing the Strong Roots for Our Futures Program in Victoria

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we trace the journey to create the Strong Roots for our Futures Program, a government program to resource and support Traditional Owners to undertake a range of activities in areas where no state recognition existed. Slowing Down Zinc Electrodeposition Kinetics Can Maximize and Compromise Anode Stability: How Slow Is Too Slow?

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Zinc anode performance is maximized within an optimal deposition‐kinetic window. Additives that tune the deposition exchange current density (i0,Dep) suppress HER at intermediate values, but overly fast kinetics promote dendrites and overly slow kinetics accelerate corrosion/HER.

Electrical Impedance Myography Detects Disease Progression over 12 to 24 Months in Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Targeted therapies for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) are progressing through clinical trials. Electrical impedance myography (EIM) provides a noninvasive biomarker of muscle composition that may be valuable especially in early phase trials. This study evaluated EIM data from a multicenter FSHD cohort over 24 months.

Light‐Driven Competitive Selection in a Protein‐Catalyzed Dissipative Peptide Replication

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A structurally flexible protein catalyzes replication within a dissipative reaction network driven by UVA‐induced disulfide rearrangements. The protein accelerates templated autocatalytic cycles with replication emerging as the dominant pathway.
