Lyapunov Based Observer Design for Electro-Hydraulic Arm System

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2022
In this paper, a Lyapunov based observer design is proposed to observe the load pressure of electro-hydraulic arm systems. The stability of the observer is investigated by using the Lyapunov based method.

Noise-induced stabilization of planar flows I

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Probability, 2015
We show that the complex-valued ODE \begin{equation*} \dot z_t = a_{n+1} z^{n+1} + a_n z^n+\cdots+a_0, \end{equation*} which necessarily has trajectories along which the dynamics blows up in finite time, can be stabilized by the addition of an arbitrarily small elliptic, additive Brownian stochastic term.

Some remarks on stabilization by additive noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We review some results on stabilization of solutions to semilinear parabolic PDEs near a change of stability due to additive degenerate noise. Our analysis is based on the rigorous derivation of a stochastic amplitude equation for the dominant mode and on careful estimates on its solution.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Effects of Operating Room Noise Management on Intraoperative Somatosensory Evoked Potential Stability and Postoperative Pain Management in Spinal Surgery Patients

open access: yesNoise and Health
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of operating room (OR) noise management on intraoperative somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP) stability and postoperative pain management among patients undergoing spinal surgery.

Noise barrier using hybrid ANC system (Proposal and application of an adaptive robust feedback ANC system)

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2016
In this paper, an adaptive robust feedback (FB) active noise control (ANC) system is proposed and applied to the previously developed active noise barrier (ANB) using a hybrid (HB) ANC system, which aims to relieve the indoor noise problem.

Noise Stability of Ranked Choice Voting

open access: yesCoRR, 2022
We conjecture that Borda count is the ranked choice voting method that best preserves the outcome of an election with randomly corrupted votes, among all fair voting methods with small influences satisfying the Condorcet Loser Criterion. This conjecture is an adaptation of the Plurality is Stablest Conjecture to the setting of ranked choice voting ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Penerapan Metode Monte-Carlo untuk Analisis Toleransi Perubahan Nilai Komponen Terhadap Kinerja Osilator Frekuensi 2,3 GHz

open access: yesJurnal Rekayasa Elektrika, 2017
In telecommunications equipment, an oscillator has a function to generate a carrier signal. As the carrier signal, a high stability performance is required. The frequency shift caused by component tolerances.
