Stabilization of linear descriptor systems by state-feedback controllers
1996Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for the existence of a solution to the stabilization problem for linear continuous-time descriptor systems of the form \[ E\dot x(t) = Ax(t) + Bu(t) \] by proportional state feedback, where \(E\) and \(A\) are real \(n\times n\) matrices and \(B\) is a real \(n\times m\) matrix.
