One‐Pot Amidation/C─H Halogenation by an Efficient Electrochemical Cascade
A sustainable electrochemical cascade enables the one‐pot synthesis of regioselectively halogenated N‐aryl amides from readily available amines and acyl halides under mild conditions. The method merges amidation and C─H halogenation in a single operational step, delivering broad substrate scope, high selectivity, and scalability, and provides an ...

Quantitative visualization of stable isotope-labeled chromosome using isotope nanoscope
Visualization of DNA strands and chromosomes have been used for the studies of DNA replication, resistance for mutagenesis and DNA repairing, and developed by using radio isotopes or analogs to label nucleotides throughout the cell cycles. However, these labels incorporated into DNA strand restrict the analysis of long-term dynamics of chromosomes ...

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS) combined with thermodynamic modeling provides the first direct characterization of radium speciation in synthetic gastrointestinal biofluids. Free Ra2+ ions predominate with minimal protein binding and negligible EDTA complexation. Crown ethers enable effective Ra complexation.

ABSTRACT Shell middens in Gippsland along the eastern half of Victoria's coastline have usually been characterised as small, short‐duration camp sites with relatively low shell densities and low taxonomic diversity. Here we present new excavation results from a dense, high‐diversity site at Red Bluff near the eastern end of GunaiKurnai Country, a ...

The E3 Ubiquitin Ligase UBE3B Regulates Synaptic Development and Cortical Network Activity
ABSTRACT Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired communication, abnormal social interactions, and restricted, repetitive behaviors. Pathogenic mutations in UBE3B result in neurodevelopmental disease, including intellectual disability, lack of speech, and ASD.
