Bifurcation of *COOH Pathway Determines HCOOH Formation in CO2 Electroreduction on Bismuth
Driven by the mechanistic debate of Bi‐catalyzed CO2‐to‐HCOOH conversion, ambiguity remains regarding true reaction pathways. To resolve this, we combined constant‐potential AIMD simulations with spectroscopic evidence to analyze the competitive pathways.

We propose an “amorphous oxygen mechanism (AOM)” for urea electrooxidation on amorphous NiWOx with tunable Ov, which achieves robust UOR activity and stability simultaneously. The “amorphous oxygen” in NiWOx prefers to escape during the UOR, in situ generating and stabilizing Ov, which thermodynamically promotes the reaction.

The fischerazoles, unusual cyanobacterial chlorinated lipopeptides are reported. During their biosynthesis, a linear fatty acyl‐acyl carrier protein (ACP) precursor is rearranged through the action of the S‐adenosyl‐methionine (SAM)‐dependent methyltransferase FshF, to generate a pendant vinyl group.

Fe3O4 clusters can be precipitated onto Fe–N–C SACs through a residual‐oxygen‐assisted precipitation approach. Compelling evidence, including operando spectroscopy and ab initio calculations, suggests that Fe3O4‐cluster precipitates not only induce asymmetric electronic structures of Fe‐N4 active center to optimize the OH* adsorption, but also ...
