Interfacial Ru–O–W Orbital Coupling Enables Lattice Oxygen Stabilization for Enhanced Acidic OER
A RuO2/WO3 electrocatalyst with strong interfacial Ru–O–W bonds exhibits optimized Ru–O interactions, enhancing intrinsic activity and stability for acidic OER. The WO3 support modulates the electronic structure of RuO2 and promotes oxo‐intermediate deprotonation, delivering a low overpotential of 203 mV at 10 mA cm−2 and sustained operation beyond 200

Stable Isotope Labeling in Mammals (SILAM)
Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2008INTRODUCTIONA general approach in quantitative mass spectrometry is to mix a protein sample containing only natural-abundance isotopes with an identical protein sample containing proteins labeled with heavy stable isotopes (e.g., 2H, 13C, 15N, or 18O).

Dynamic lipidomics with stable isotope labelling
Journal of Chromatography B, 2009Incorporation of stable isotope labelled precursors enables estimation of the kinetics of lipid synthesis and turnover (dynamic lipidomics) in the clinical as well the experimental setting. Recent advances in tandem mass spectrometry extend the analytical possibilities from measurements of isotope enrichments to determinations of intact substrates ...

Stable isotope labeled alpha‐ketoacids
Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals, 1984AbstractAlkylation of diethyl oxalpropionate with [D3]methyl iodide followed by acid hydrolysis led to 3‐[D3]methyl‐2‐oxobutyric (α‐ketoisovaleric) acid. Alkylation of N‐t‐butylpropylimine with [D3]methyl iodide followed by hydrolysis gave 2‐[D3]methylpropanal. This was further alkylated with 2,2‐difluoro‐1‐tosyloxyvinyllithium and hydrolyzed to afford

Stable-Isotope Dimethyl Labeling for Quantitative Proteomics
Analytical Chemistry, 2003In this paper, we report a novel, stable-isotope labeling strategy for quantitative proteomics that uses a simple reagent, formaldehyde, to globally label the N-terminus and epsilon-amino group of Lys through reductive amination. This labeling strategy produces peaks differing by 28 mass units for each derivatized site relative to its nonderivatized ...

Synthesis of stable isotope labeled 3-acetyldeoxynivalenol
Molecular Nutrition & Food Research, 2005Stable isotope labeled 3-acetyldeoxynivalenol (3-AcDON) was synthesized in excellent yield from deoxynivalenol as starting material. This is the first synthesis of a stable isotope labeled type-B trichothecene suitable as internal standard for HPLC-MS/MS or GC-MS analysis of trichothecene mycotoxins.

Labeling Monosaccharides With Stable Isotopes
2015Chemical and chemi-enzymic methods are discussed for the preparation of monosaccharide isotopomers that are singly and multiply labeled with (13)C, (2)H, (17/18)O, and (15)N isotopes. The discussion focuses primarily on chemical methods to incorporate stable isotopes into monosaccharides and not on methods to assemble labeled monosaccharides into more ...

Quantitative N-glycoproteomics using stable isotopic diethyl labeling
Talanta, 2020Protein N-glycosylation plays an essential role on cancers and other pathological processes. Its structural and functional studies rely on complete qualitative and quantitative information. Thus, it is important to quantify differentially expressed intact N-glycopeptides (DEGPs) at their molecular level.

Stable-isotope-labeled biochemicals from microalgae
Trends in Biotechnology, 1988Abstract Opportunities for biotechnology do not depend solely upon the development of biological techniques and processes. Markets can be created in parallel with the emergence of technology. The importance of luminometry in diagnostics, for instance, is due as much to the production of realistically priced, reliable instrumentation as it is to the ...
