Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

GENERALIZED TOPOLOGICAL TRANSITION MATRIX.
. This article represents a major step in the unification of the theory of algebraic, topological and singular transition matrices by introducing a definition which is a generalization that encompasses all of the previous three.

New Bounds for State Transition Matrices [PDF]
International audienceWe address the problem of constructing matrix-valued interval observers for estimating state transition matrices for time-varying systems. We provide less conservative estimators than those in recent literature.

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Pseudoentropy sum rule by analytical continuation of the superposition parameter
In this paper, we establish a sum rule that connects the pseudoentropy and entanglement entropy of the superposition state. Through analytical continuation of the superposition parameter, we demonstrate that the transition matrix and density matrix of ...

A uniform definition of stochastic process calculi [PDF]
We introduce a unifying framework to provide the semantics of process algebras, including their quantitative variants useful for modeling quantitative aspects of behaviors.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Relative State Transition Matrix Using Geometric Approach for Onboard Implementation
In the present study relative state transition matrix was obtained. It matches the relative motion of 2 satellites while including the oblate perturbation. The used formulation applies the geometric approach and is in Cartesian frame.
