This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

The Shape of Stellar Convection
Recent space missions such as Kepler, TESS, and soon PLATO have provided an abundance of high-quality stellar data, highlighting the need for more accurate models of stellar structure and evolution.

Perspectives on the physics of late-type stars from beyond low earth orbit, the moon and mars
With the new discoveries enabled thanks to the recent space missions, stellar physics is going through a revolution. However, these discoveries opened the door to many new questions that require more observations.

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Stellar-mass black holes (3 M⊙≲MBH≲150 M⊙) are the natural product of the evolution of heavy stars (Mstar≳20 M⊙). In our Galaxy, we expect that 108–109 stellar-mass black holes have been formed from the

Asteroseismic Structure Inversions of Main-sequence Solar-like Oscillators with Convective Cores
Asteroseismic inferences of main-sequence solar-like oscillators often rely on best-fit models. However, these models cannot fully reproduce the observed mode frequencies, suggesting that the internal structure of the model does not fully match that of ...

Stellarator physics evaluation studies
Stellarator/torsatron configurations with a wide range of parameters have been evaluated and compared in terms of their vacuum field topology, magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium and stability, and guiding center orbit confinement. The torsatron configurations are found to be the most suitable choice for a near-term physics experiment.

14‐day casting‐induced immobilization reduced gastrocnemius muscle mass and increased non‐heme iron and ferritin heavy chain levels. Despite iron accumulation, transferrin receptor 1 and iron regulatory protein 2 were paradoxically upregulated. Lipid peroxidation was elevated without compensatory antioxidant responses.

Microlensing and the physics of stellar atmospheres
The simple physics of microlensing provides a well understood tool with which to probe the atmospheres of distant stars in the Galaxy and Local Group with high magnification and resolution.
