Numerical solution of stiff systems of differential equations arising from chemical reactions [PDF]
Long time integration of large stiff systems of initial value problems, arising from chemical reactions, demands efficient methods with good accuracy and extensive absolute stability region.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Overlapping operator splitting methods andapplications in stiff differential equations [PDF]
In this article we study the stability of an overlapping operatorsplitting methods based on iterative methods. We discuss the overlapping iterative Operator Splitting method in the context of decoupling the stiff and non-stiff operators.

On overcoming Dahlquist’s second barrier for$A$-stable linear multistep methods [PDF]
Dahlquist’s second barrier limits the order of $A$-stable linear multistep methods to at most two, posing significant challenges for achieving higher accuracy in the numerical solution of stiff ordinary differential equations.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Implicit Taylor methods for stiff stochastic differential equations
In this paper we discuss implicit Taylor methods for stiff Itô stochastic differential equations. Based on the relationship between Itô stochastic integrals and backward stochastic integrals, we introduce three implicit Taylor methods: the implicit Euler–

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
