DSGTA: A Dynamic and Stochastic Game-Theoretic Allocation Model for Scalable and Efficient Resource Management in Multi-Tenant Cloud Environments

open access: yesFuture Internet
Efficient resource allocation is a central challenge in multi-tenant cloud, fog, and edge environments, where heterogeneous tenants compete for shared resources under dynamic and uncertain workloads.

On Zero-Sum Stochastic Differential Games [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We generalize the results of Fleming and Souganidis (1989) on zero sum stochastic differential games to the case when the controls are unbounded. We do this by proving a dynamic programming principle using a covering argument instead of relying on a ...

Hepatocyte Mettl3 Deficiency Drives Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and Liver Fibrosis via Cholangiocyte‐Macrophage Crosstalk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration demonstrating that hepatic Mettl3 depletion significantly elevates the secretion of Mif and Csf1. This elevation facilitates Trem2+ macrophage infiltration and triggers cholangiocyte remodeling through the Spp1‐Cd44 interaction, resulting in spontaneous PSC development in vivo.

Tug of War games and PDEs on graphs with applications in image and high dimensional data processing

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
The aim of this note is to revisit the connections between some stochastic games, namely Tug-of-War games, and a class of nonlocal PDEs on graphs. We consider a general formulation of Tug-of-War games which is shown to be related to many classical PDEs ...

CRISPLD2 Attenuates Intervertebral Disc Degeneration by Suppressing Oxidative Stress‐Induced Ferroptosis through the miR‐548I‐IL17A Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies CRISPLD2 as a key protector against IVDD. By regulating ferroptosis through the CRISPLD2–miR‐548I–IL17A axis, CRISPLD2 maintains NPCs homeostasis and reduces oxidative stress. Restoring CRISPLD2 expression effectively alleviates disc degeneration and highlights a promising therapeutic strategy for discogenic low back pain ...

Targeting DAP5 Disrupts Alternate Mode of Translational Initiation in Tregs and Potentiates Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Regulatory T cells (Tregs) suppress antitumor immunity. This study identifies that the translation scaffold DAP5/eIF4G2 is upregulated in tumor‐infiltrating Tregs (ti‐Tregs). DAP5 mediates an alternate translation mode to sustain CD25 and MCL‐1 expression, which is critical for ti‐Treg stability and survival in the tumor microenvironment.

Playing Stochastic Games Precisely [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study stochastic two-player games where the goal of one player is to achieve precisely a given expected value of the objective function, while the goal of the opponent is the opposite. Potential applications for such games include controller synthesis problems where the optimisation objective is to maximise or minimise a given payoff function while ...

Tri‐Layer Solid‐State Nanopore Arrays with Crosstalk Suppression for High‐Throughput, Femtomolar‐Level Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The critical pore spacing—approximately twenty times the pore radius—required to minimize electric field coupling is determined via finite element analysis. A multi‐layered Al2O3/Au/Si3N4 nanopore structure fabricated by helium ion beam lithography is proposed, enabling quantitative analysis of the target analyte while mitigating inter‐pore crosstalk ...

Noisy Stochastic Games [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper establishes existence of a stationary Markov perfect equilibrium in general stochastic games with noise—a component of the state that is nonatomically distributed and not directly affected by the previous period’s state and actions.

Stochastic Cooperative Games: Theory and Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Cooperative behavior generally emerges for the individual benefit of the people and organizations involved. Whether it is an international agreement like the GATT or the local neighborhood association, the main driving force behind cooperation is the participants’ belief that it will improve their welfare.
