3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

A note on Paley-Wiener-Zygmund stochastic integrals

open access: yes, 1988
A Fubini theorem for multiparameter Paley-Wiener-Zygmund stochastic integrals is established which unifies various stochastic integration formulas. We also obtain similar results for double stochastic integrals of Paley-Wiener-Zygmund type.

Uniform approximation for families of stochastic integrals

open access: yes, 1998
Uniform approximations for families of stochastic integrals of Rubin-Fisk-Stratonovich type and Ito type are studied. It is shown that the approximants of Rubin-Fisk-Stratonovich type obtained from partitions of equal size converge faster to the ...

Tough, Ductile, and Strong Hard‐Soft Cementitious Composite Enabled by Multi‐Material Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including

Stochastic evolution equations in weighted L² spaces with jump noise

open access: yes, 2012
Michel S. Stochastic evolution equations in weighted L² spaces with jump noise. Bielefeld: Universität Bielefeld; 2012.In this thesis, we study two classes of stochastic differential equations (SDEs in short) with jump noise in weighted L² spaces over ...

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Reduction formula for moments of stochastic integrals

open access: yes, 1997
We show how moments of stochastic integrals can be expressed explicitly as expectation values of ordinary Lebesgue integrals, This result generalizes the well known relationship for the second moment.

An extension of the stochastic sewing lemma and applications to fractional stochastic calculus

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
We give an extension of Lê’s stochastic sewing lemma. The stochastic sewing lemma proves convergence in $L_m$ of Riemann type sums $\sum _{[s,t] \in \pi } A_{s,t}$ for an adapted two-parameter stochastic process A, under certain conditions ...
