MECHANICAL DAMAGE AND CORN STORABILITY
Transactions of the ASAE, 1998The effect of mechanical damage on corn (Zea mays) storability as determined by carbon dioxide production and dry matter loss (DML) caused by fungi was quantified. Corn allowable storage time (AST) decreased as percent mechanically damaged kernels increased from 0 to 40%, but AST was relatively constant for damage levels of 40 to 50%.

Exchange Rates and Storables Prices
1991Current interest in the effects of devaluation on trade in primary commodities is dated far back in history. Taussig (1896) already considered the problem of international bimetallism in raw materials trade, i.e. Indian wheat exports. According to Taussig “...

Local reasoning about storable locks
Proceedings of the 9th ACM SIGPLAN international conference on Principles and practice of declarative programming, 2007This talk will present a resource-oriented program logic that is able to reason about concurrent heap-manipulating programs with unbounded numbers of dynamically-allocated locks, and note an extension to storable threads. The logic is inspired by concurrent separation logic, but handles these more realistic concurrency primitives.

A Comparison of Hedging Strategies and Effectiveness for Storable and Non-Storable Commodities
2010This research questions whether the hedging potential of a futures market differs between storable and non-storable commodities. The relationship between asset storability and hedging effectiveness was examined using five years of daily cash and futures data for eight commodities.

Survey of Current Storable Propellants
ARS Journal, 1962T E P U R P O S E of this paper is to discuss the recent unclassified information available on the subject of storable liquid propellants. I t is the object of the authors not to provide a handbook of da ta per t inent to the field bu t rather to give the reader a survey t ha t emphasizes the growing importance of storable propellants, recent ...

STORABLE CONCENTRATED HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
1966Abstract : Storage of concentrated hydrogen peroxide in sealed containers over long periods of time requires a high degree of purification by removal of trace quantities of metallic contaminants and requires container surfaces of very low catalytic activity toward hydrogen peroxide. The method currently under study for final purification of peroxide is

Space storable propulsion components development
18th Joint Propulsion Conference, 1982The current development status of components to control the flow of propellants (liquid fluorine and hydrazine) in a demonstration space storable propulsion system is discussed. The criteria which determined the designs for the pressure regulator, explosive-actuated valves, propellant shutoff valve, latching solenoid-actuated valve and propellant ...

Storability of Harvest-Damaged Soybeans
Transactions of the ASAE, 1981ABSTRACT SOYBEANS damaged by combine harvesting were placed in storage at 10.6-percent moisture (wet basis) for two years. Samples were tested initially and after 4, 7.5, 10,5 18.5, and 23.5 mo in storage for germina-tion, seedcoat cracks, breakage, seed tissue damage and oil quality to determine the effects of storage time and harvest damage on seed ...

Storability of Diesel-Ethanol Blends
2006 Portland, Oregon, July 9-12, 2006, 2006The storability of six different proportions of diesel-ethanol blends was investigated and the results compared with those obtained from normal blends which were not stored. The different fuel blends used were 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30% by volume of ethanol with diesel. Normal diesel fuel as well as normal ethanol was also used. The samples were
