Artificial Neural Network Models for the Double-Vias in Multilayer Stripline Circuits

International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 1999
Multi-vias is a kind of interconnection largely existing in the multi-chip module (MCM) packages for high-speed digital circuits. In this paper, a multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPNN) is used to model the double-vias in multilayer stripline circuits. The MLPNN is electromagnetically developed with a set of training data that are produced by the

Fuzzy neuroconformal analysis of multilayer elliptical cylindrical and asymmetrical coplanar striplines

AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2015
Abstract In this paper, accurate and compact analytic closed-form expressions are presented in order to calculate the quasi-static parameters of symmetric/asymmetric multilayer planar coplanar stripline (MACPS), multilayer cylindrical (MCCPS), and multilayer elliptical (MECPS) by using the conformal mapping technique (CMT).

Novel microstrip-to-stripline transitions for leakage suppression in multilayer microwave circuits

IEEE 7th Topical Meeting on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging (Cat. No.98TH8370), 2002
Leakage phenomena of microstrip-to-stripline transitions are studied and a leakage suppression design technique is developed. Asymmetric striplines improve the microstrip-to-stripline transition performance considerably and suppress the leakage generation successfully.

Analysis of Circular and Noncircular Waveguides and Striplines With Multilayered Uniaxial Anisotropic Medium

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2019
A simple procedure to analyze multilayered transmission lines with circular or quasi-circular uniaxial anisotropic dielectric layers is presented. It is based on an extension of the discrete mode matching method to analyze conformal structures with anisotropy.

Compact multilayer coupled stripline LTCC filter with defected ground structure

2009 International Conference on Microwave Technology and Computational Electromagnetics (ICMTCE 2009), 2009
A novel multilayer coupled stripline resonator structure is introduced to realize miniature broadband band-pass filter using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) process with defected ground structure (DGS). Wide bandwidth and good selectivity are obtained by exploiting four resonators and the filter exhibits a high rejection in stopband by adopting

A stripline re-entrant coupler network for cofired multilayer microwave circuits

1996 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2002
A stripline coupler network is presented that is suitable for cofired multilayer circuit applications. The network contains a tandem arrangement of two re-entrant coupler structures that can provide tight coupling (3 dB) and is insensitive to conductor registration or misalignments.

Design for electrical performance of wideband multilayer LTCC microstrip-to-stripline transition

Proceedings of 6th Electronics Packaging Technology Conference (EPTC 2004) (IEEE Cat. No.04EX971), 2005
A high impedance compensation technique is proposed to improve the wideband performance of the microstrip-to-stripline transition for multilayer LTCC substrate. A section of high impedance transmission line, which induces additional inductance, is added between the transition and 50 /spl Omega/ transmission line to compensate the capacitance of the ...

Equivalent Circuit Representation of Stripline Step Discontinuity for Multilayer MMIC Applications

30th European Microwave Conference, 2000, 2000
Multilayer realization of three-dimensional (3D) MMIC has been applied to reduce the cost and size of microwave circuits for commercial applications. The lack of computationally efficient and accurate models for basic microwave components makes the circuit optimization difficult and inefficient.

Segmented Physics-Based Modeling of Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards Using Stripline Ports

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2016
This paper introduces physics-based stripline ports for a segmented optimization of component footprints on printed circuit boards (PCBs). A segmentation is used for dividing a digital communication system into well-defined parts that are considered to be mostly independent.

Compact multilayered three-channel multiplexer using synthesized microstrip lines and striplines

2011 International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT), 2011
A compact multilayered three-channel multiplexer is investigated in this paper. The multiplexer is developed by integration of ten synthesized microstrip lines and striplines. It has three transmission passbands at 0.9, 1.8, and 2.4 GHz. Open-circuited stubs are utilized as wave trapping circuits to provide port isolation.
