Robust $\mu$ -Synthesis Control of Dual LCL Type IPT System Considering Load and Mutual Inductance Uncertainty

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The output voltage of a dual LCL inductive power transfer (IPT) system varies with the load and mutual inductance, which can affect the system performance, e.g., the charging speed of electrical equipment.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Singular Value Decomposition-Assisted Holographic Generation of High-Quality Cylindrical Vector Beams Through Few-Mode Fibers

open access: yesPhotonics
Full control of the light field at the tip of the fiber holds the possibility of producing structured illumination patterns such as LG-beams or vector light fields, which have important applications in different fields such as imaging and quantum ...

Sentimental text mining based on an additional features method for text classification.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
Owing to the emergence of the Internet and its rapid growth, people can use mobile devices on many social media platforms (blogs, Facebook forums, etc.), and the platforms provide well-known websites for people to express and share their daily activities

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Robustness of quantum systems subject to decoherence: structured singular value analysis? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We study the problem of robust performance of quantum systems under structured uncertainties. A specific feature of closed (Hamiltonian) quantum systems is that their poles lie on the imaginary axis and that neither a coherent controller nor physically ...

Robust H output feedback control of bidirectional inductive power transfer systems

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2017
Bidirectional Inductive power transfer (IPT) systems behave as high order resonant networks and hence are highly sensitive to changes in system parameters.

Robustness Analysis of an Electrohydraulic Steering Control System Based on the Estimated Uncertainty Model

open access: yesInformation, 2021
The impossibility of replacing hydraulic drives with other type drives in heavy duty machinery is the main reason for the development of a system for controlling hydraulic power steering. Moreover, the need for remote automatic control of the steering in

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Robot Control near Singularity and Joint Limit Using a Continuous Task Transition Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2013
When robots are controlled in the task space, singularities and joint limits are among the most critical and difficult issues that can arise. In this paper, we propose a new approach for the robots to operate in the regions near singularities and joint ...
