Assembly, post-translational processing, and subcellular localization of ion channels
1995Abstract Most ion channels are complex, multi-subunit transmembrane proteins (1-3). Aconsequence of this structural complexity is that the correct functional expression of ion channels requires a diverse series of post-translational events including covalent modifications and subunit oligomerization.

[Cellular and subcellular morphology of the repair process in pulmonary tuberculosis].
Problemy tuberkuleza, 1997The repair processes in pulmonary tissue and granuloma in experimental tuberculosis were studied electron-microscopically and histochemically. At the beginning of inflammation they manifest at the ultrastructural level in aerohematic barrier cells.

The subcellular localization of a C-terminal processing protease in Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
FEMS microbiology letters, 2011Carboxy (C)-terminal processing proteases (CTP) are a relatively new group of serine proteases. Found in a broad range of organisms - bacteria, archaea, algae, plants and animals - these proteases are involved in the C-terminal processing of proteins.
