Succinic Acid Production from Oil Palm Biomass: A Prospective Plastic Pollution Solution
Plastic pollution has placed a significant emphasis on the need for synthesising bioplastics, such as polybutylene succinate (PBS), which is derived from succinic acid.

Bis(2-aminothiazolium) succinate succinic acid [PDF]
In the title compound, 2C(3)H(5)N(2)S(+)·C(4)H(4)O(4) (2-)·C(4)H(6)O(4), the thia-zolium ring is almost planar, with the maximum deviation from planarity being 0.0056 (8) Å for the C atom carrying the amine substituent. The N atom of the 2-amino-thia-zole mol-ecule is protonated. Both the anion and the acid lie across inversion centres.

Succinic acid production by wine yeasts and the influence of GABA and glutamic acid
As a consequence of alcoholic fermentation (AF) in wine, several compounds are released by yeasts, and some of them are linked to the general quality and mouthfeel perceptions in wine.

Beech wood treated with polyglycerol succinate: a new effective method for its protection and stabilization [PDF]
This paper deals with an original and non-biocidal chemical treatment consisting of a vacuum/pressure impregnation step of beech wood with a water-borne mixture made from heat-activated condensation of succinic anhydride (SA) and glycerol (G).

Optimization of Slurry Fermentation for Succinic Acid Production by Fungal Co-culture
This study attempted to produce succinic acid from co-culture of Aspergillus niger, Trichoderma reesei, and Phanerochaete chrysosporium strains in a two-step fermentation: solid-state fermentation pre-culturing phase followed by slurry fermentation ...
