Infection Complications in Pediatric Patients With Inborn Errors of Immunity After Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation: A Chinese Single‐Center Study

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
This study reveals that infections are highly prevalent in pediatric IEI patients after umbilical cord blood transplantation, with early‐stage infections and bloodstream infections strongly associated with poorer survival. Impact of Doxycycline Prophylaxis on Reducing Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma‐Related Complications in Lung Transplant Recipients

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
Doxycycline prophylaxis in lung transplant recipients was associated with reduced hyperammonemia syndrome and shorter ventilation, ICU, and hospital stays. These findings suggest that doxycycline prophylaxis may help prevent Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma‐related morbidity.
