Magnetic excitation in a new spin gap compound Cu$_2$Sc$_2$Ge$_4$O$_{13}$: Comparison to Cu$_2$Fe$_2$Ge$_4$O$_{13}$ [PDF]
The compound \CuScGeO is presented as a new member of the family of weakly coupled spin chain and dimer compounds \CuMGeO. Magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and neutron inelastic scattering measurements reveal that the compound has the same spin dimer component as \CuFeGeO.

Pt‐Luc was developed as a pioneering bioluminescent reporter for real‐time monitoring of Pt(IV) reduction in live cells. Using this advanced reporter, we identified that reactive cysteines in proteins, rather than those in small molecules, predominantly mediate the reduction of Pt(IV) prodrugs.

Comparative studies of the preparation of immunoliposomes with the use of two bifunctional coupling agents and investigation of in vitro immunoliposome-target cell binding by cytofluorometry and electron microscopy [PDF]
The two coupling agents SPDP (N-succinimidyl-3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate) and SATA (N-succinimidyl-S-acetylthioacetate) were compared in their efficiency and feasibility to couple monoclonal antibodies (Abs) via thioether linkage to liposomes ...

Homo‐bifunctional PEG, acrylate‐PEG‐acrylate (PEGDA), coatings are prepared on glass and glass‐type surfaces using solvent‐free thiol‐acrylate conjugate addition reactions at room temperature. The prepared PEGDA coatings are stable, antifouling, and provide feature terminal acrylates that can act as free radical acceptors for photobleaching‐induced ...

Surface Coordination and Polymerization of Allyl Mercaptan Passivates the Oxidation of Copper
This study demonstrates that allyl mercaptan self‐assembles on the surface of copper via coordination and polymerization, forming an ultrathin polymeric passivation layer (8.06 ± 0.50 nm). The modified copper foil achieves a two‐order‐of‐magnitude anti‐corrosion performance enhancement across multi‐service environments. Abstract The oxidation of copper
