Genome‐Wide CRISPR Screen Identifies a microRNA Orchestrating Pleiotropic Resistance to Targeted Therapy and T Cell Immunity in Melanoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.

Possibility of a life-time extension for wwer-1000 reactor pressure vessels beyond the design period

open access: yesTrudy Odesskogo Politehničeskogo Universiteta, 2020
At present a life-time extension for WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessels is an actual issue in Ukraine. For a decision about the life-time extension it is needed to assess mechanical properties and the critical brittleness temperature TK for the RPV ...

Tumor‐Derived LAMB3 Drives Immunosuppressive LRRC15+ Fibroblast Formation During Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

Calculational determination of some irradiation condition parameters of surveillance specimens of WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessel

open access: yesNuclear Physics and Atomic Energy, 2000
The shortcomings of dosimetry part of surveillance specimen (SS) program that is realizing on Ukrainian NPPs at present are presented. Structure and functioning principles of the program package MCSS, intended for calculation of functionals of neutron flux which influence on SS in WWER-1000 reactor are described.

RBM10 Deficiency Promotes Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance in LUAD via STING Alternative Splicing‐Driven CCL7 Signaling and Macrophage Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RBM10 deficiency promotes anti‐PD‐1 resistance in lung adenocarcinoma by altering STING alternative splicing, which enhances CCL7 secretion and CCR2‐dependent M2 macrophage polarization. A positive feedback loop via mitochondrial transfer sustains this immunosuppression.

Detection of polioviruses and non-polio enteroviruses by acute flaccid paralysis and environmental surveillances in Sistan and Balouchestan Province

open access: yesIranian South Medical Journal, 2006
Background: In some countries, though wild poliovirus isolation from clinical specimens has not been done, evidences of silent circulation of wild virus in sewage system have been reported. On the other hand, based on WHO recommendations, if there is any

ABHD17C‐Mediated S‐Depalmitoylation of BCL6B Enhances CD24 Transcription to Resist Macrophage Phagocytosis in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABHD17C‐mediated depalmitoylation of BCL6B at Cys442 blocks its nuclear import and triggers ubiquitin‐dependent degradation, attenuating transcriptional repression of the anti‐phagocytic signal CD24. This mechanism enables pancreatic cancer cells to evade macrophage phagocytosis and fosters an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

Clostridioides difficile clinical diagnostic test methods and results are associated with recovery of C. difficile by stool culture

open access: yesMicrobiology Spectrum
Accurate molecular epidemiology relies on recovering Clostridioides difficile from clinical specimens and is essential for informing public health responses, characterizing strains that cause disease, and tracking strain prevalence.
