3D‐Printed Actuator Powered by Liquid Crystal Elastomer Muscles at the Water–Air Interface
Soft robots for unstructured environments require responsive, durable actuators. Liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) provide large reversible deformations under thermal or optical stimuli. Direct ink writing enables fabrication of LCE actuators integrated with silicone, with mesogen chemistry and oligomers optimized for printable inks.

Swim training alters renal and cardiovascular responses to stress in borderline hypertensive rats
The present study assessed the effects of 40 min of tail shock stress (1-s shock, 0.2 mA every 30 s) on renal and cardiovascular function in swim-trained (T), water-immersed (IM), and untrained (UT) borderline hypertensive rats (BHR). T BHR swam for 2 h/

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.
