Drive of senseless Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) depending on Artificial Neural Networks
2017 10th Jordanian International Electrical and Electronics Engineering Conference (JIEEEC), 2017The Competition between the various types of electric motors has not been dependent on the development principle of the performance. Instead of that the total cost of the drive system (Motor-Inverter-Control system) has become an important element which cannot be ignored in the market of automated working mechanisms and modern drive systems.

Simulation of Four Switch Three Phase Inverter fed Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SRM)
2015 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Signals, Communication and Optimization (EESCO), 2015This paper proposes a vector control of Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SRM) which is fed from a Four Switch Three Phase Inverter (FSTPI) instead of Six Switch Three Phase Inverter (SSTPI). For any three phase inverter require six switches, but these switches are reduced to four.

Speed Control of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) Using Emotional Learning Based Adaptive Controller
2005 International Conference on Control and Automation, 2005In this paper, an intelligent controller is applied to speed control of a switched reluctance motor. Two techniques are used which have been successfully used in other intelligent modeling and control applications. Firstly, a neuro-fuzzy locally linear model tree system is used for data driven modeling of the switched reluctance motor.

Speed-thrust control of a double sided linear switched reluctance motor (DSL-SRM)
2008 18th International Conference on Electrical Machines, 2008The speed and thrust control strategy for a double sided linear switched reluctance motor (DSL-SRM) is elaborated in the paper, based on a simplified analytical model. The strategy is defined for different motor phase supply conditions and the dynamic characteristics are calculated via computer simulation for a sample motor, in order to sustain the ...

Switched Reluctance Motor Drives (SRM)
2010The principle of operation of reluctance machines are known for a long time. In 1838 a locomotive was driven by such a motor in Scotland. The stepper motor which also works on the principle of variable reluctance was patented by CL Walker in 1920. The basic concepts of switched reluctance motors in present form were first introduced by SA Nasar in his ...

Review of Controlling of Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM) Drive Techniques in Micro-grid
Journal of Advances in Science and TechnologyThere has been growing interest in the switching reluctance motor in both the academic andbusiness communities. The minimal cost of construction and the fact that no rare materials are requiredare two of Micro-most grid's lauded qualities. Switched reluctance motors are more difficult tomanipulate than conventional machines.

This paper presents a design and optimization of an 8/6 External-Rotor Switched Reluctance Motor for a low speed domestic application as direct drive. The initial design dimensions are derived from the analytical calculation using magnetic equivalent circuit. This is further analyzed and verified with finite element analysis.

The switched reluctance motor (SRM) is well known for its higher acoustic noise, caused by stator vibrations. This paper describes a method for noise reduction in a new stator pole face SRM having pole shoe and notch. This motor has been made by conversion shaded-pole induction motor to SRM. Static characteristic of the motor is analyzed and calculated
