Effects of Dexmedetomidine on the Behavioral Outcomes in Streptozotocin‐Induced Alzheimer's Disease Rats
Brain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.Dexmedetomidine at 25 µg/kg effectively reverses working and spatial memory deficits in a streptozotocin (STZ)‐induced rat model of Alzheimer's disease, restoring Y‐maze alternation and Morris Water Maze performance. Higher doses show no clear benefit, highlighting Dex‐25 as a promising neuroprotective candidate.Mina Mohasel‐Roodi, Masoumeh Nozari, Ali Shamsara, Mohsen Basiri, Vida Mirzaie, Masoumeh Baghalishahi +5 morewiley +1 more sourceLow-dose combination of perindopril arginine with indapamide in correction of metabolic syndrome

The Journal of Clinical Hypertension, Volume 27, Issue 12, December 2025.ABSTRACT
The cardio–ankle vascular index (CAVI) and accelerated photoplethysmography (APG) are noninvasive methods for assessing arteriosclerosis, but differences in measurement principles and anatomical targets may lead to discrepancies in reported values. This study evaluated the correlation between CAVI and APG and identified factors contributing to Seon‐Uk Jeon, Sang‐Kwan Moon, Min Kyung Kim, Seungwon Kwon, Seung‐Yeon Cho, Woo‐Sang Jung, Seong‐Uk Park, Jung‐Mi Park, Chang‐Nam Ko, Han‐Gyul Lee +9 morewiley +1 more sourcePheochromocytoma – A challenge to anesthetist
