Catalytic Functionalization of Unactivated π‐Bonds Enabled by Bidentate Directing Auxiliaries
This review explores how bidentate directing auxiliaries have advanced transition‐metal catalysis for unactivated alkene/alkyne functionalization. By leveraging chelated intermediates, bidentate directing auxiliaries enable precise hydrofunctionalization, difunctionalization, and C─H activation of π‐bonds with unique selectivity and reactivity.

Disorders with progressive accumulation of α-synuclein (α-syn) are a common cause of dementia and parkinsonism in the aging population. Accumulation and propagation of α-syn play a role in the pathogenesis of these disorders.

Abstract Premise Changing climates are leading to more frequent and severe heat waves, potentially threatening plant populations. Both acclimation to stress and selection for heat‐escape or heat‐resistance phenotypes occur during heat waves. However, plastic responses and selection do not necessarily interact cohesively—even producing trait responses ...

The impact of C‐3 fluorination on the synthesis and conformation of alginate oligosaccharides is investigated. A C‐3‐fluoro mannuronic acid building block is generated and shown to react with high β‐selectivity. Automated glycan assembly enables access to uniquely fluorinated mannuronic acid alginates where deoxyfluorination is shown not to perturb the

π‐Radical Cascades to Peri‐Fused Triangulene Dimers
We demonstrate the potential of open‐shell molecular graphene fragments as synthons for constructing graphene nanostructures via π‐radical cascades. By identifying monoradical intermediates as key selectivity‐determining species and tuning steric effects in a triangulene precursor, we show that reactivity in a formally diradical system can be ...

‘Plasma germinatif’: ο Ελύτης μεταφραστής του Lautréamont
The present paper employs Lambert and van Gorp’s descriptive model of analysis and Theo Herman’s polysystem theory, in order to examine Odysseus Elytis’ translations from Lautréamont’s Chants de Maldoror. It begins with an examination of the translator’s
