"Proliferation of cytotoxic and activated T cells during acute Epstein-Barr virus induced Infectious Mononucleosis " [PDF]
The immune responses that develop following Epstien-Barr Virus (EBV) infection are complex and involve both humoral and to a greater extent cell-mediated immune mechanisms. To evaluate the immune response, flow cytometric analysis of the peripheral blood

On the localization of FKBP25 in T‐lymphocytes [PDF]
Using polyclonal rabbit antibodies against bovine FKBP25, NEPHGE/SDS‐PAGE and Western blotting we demonstrate that the rapamycin‐specific immunophilin FKBP25 is present in T‐lymphoma Jurkat cells. Subsequent fractionations of the soluble Jurkat cell proteins have revealed that FKBP25 predominantly occurs in the nuclear fraction.

Capturing T Lymphocytes’ Dynamic Interactions With Human Neural Cells Using Time-Lapse Microscopy
To fully perform their functions, T lymphocytes migrate within organs’ parenchyma and interact with local cells. Infiltration of T lymphocytes within the central nervous system (CNS) is associated with numerous neurodegenerative disorders.

T Lymphocytes Are Not Immune [PDF]
Administration of genetically modified T lymphocytes to cancer patients has increased exponentially over the past 15 years, and these cells have been given to many hundreds of patients. These studies have often used retroviral vectors, and, in sharp contrast to clinical trials using hematopoietic stem cells as targets, gene-modified T cells have not ...

Ca2+ Microdomains in T-Lymphocytes
Early Ca2+ signaling is characterized by occurrence of Ca2+ microdomains formed by opening of single or clusters of Ca2+ channels, thereby initiating first signaling and subsequently activating global Ca2+ signaling mechanisms. However, only few data are

Near-infrared imaging of adoptive immune cell therapy in breast cancer model using cell membrane labeling. [PDF]
The overall objective of this study is to non-invasively image and assess tumor targeting and retention of directly labeled T-lymphocytes following their adoptive transfer in mice.

Acute infectious mononucleosis is a widespread viral disease, which most often manifests in childhood. The development of acute infectious mononucleosis is accompanied by the change of the CD4+/CD8+ T-lymphocytes ratio and the increase of the virus ...

Role of CTLA4 immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of colon cancers
Background: There are a wide range of diagnostic markers for colorectal cancers like detection of mutated KRAS, TP53, and APC genes. However, genetic and immunological factors have also been attributed to the cancer prognosis.
