Slip Perception Using a Tactile Array Sensor
2014In this chapter, we present the concept of using image processing for tactile sensors as appropriate tools in localizing/recognizing objects in robotic in-hand manipulation tasks, a concept originally derived from our localized displacement phenomenon (LDP) idea.

An all digital VLSI tactile array sensor
Proceedings. 1984 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2005This paper describes a new VLSI tactile array sensor that was designed for use on the fingers of a robot manipulator. The photolithographic methods used in fabricating the microelectronics were also used to build an array of mechanical structures on top of an integrated circuit.
