A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Potentials of TanDEM-X Interferometric Data for Global Forest/Non-Forest Classification [PDF]
This paper presents a method to generate forest/nonforest maps from TanDEM-X interferometric SAR data. Among the several contributions which may affect the quality of interferometric products, the coherence loss caused by volume scattering represents the

Estimating site index from short term TanDEM-X canopy height models [PDF]
The tree height growth from three vegetation seasons was fitted to height growth curves in order to estimate the site index, which is a variable related to forest site productivity.

A regulatory axis involving APE1, AUF1, and miR‐221 is proposed. Pri‐miR‐221 is processed by DROSHA and DICER to generate mature miR‐221, which targets p27Kip1 mRNA. APE1 and AUF1 compete for pre‐miR‐221 binding. Reduced APE1/AUF1 levels impair miR‐221 biogenesis, decrease p27Kip1 mRNA degradation, and promote cell cycle progression, chemoresistance ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Multistatic SAR Imaging: Comparison of Simulation Results and Experimental Data [PDF]
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems in a multistatic configuration are a promising candidate for future Earth observation and reconnaissance radar systems. They overcome the sampling constraints inherent to single-channel SAR systems.
