Task Allocation for Affective Robots Based on Willingness
Affection is regarded as a new solution to coordinate task allocation problems in the multi-robot system. In this paper, we proposed an interpretable and computational affection model based on willingness and a new personality model named CASE to measure

The methods of task pre‐allocation and reallocation for multi‐UAV cooperative reconnaissance mission
Nowadays, multi unmanned aerial vehicle (multi‐UAV) systems have been widely used in battlefield. The rationality of mission plan can directly affect the effectiveness of multi‐UAV system. The existing multi‐UAV task allocation model lack a comprehensive

Research on Fuzzy Decision-Making Method of Task Allocation for Ship Multiagent Collaborative Design
Since task allocation is one of the core tasks of ship design, the choice of its allocation strategy is a key factor that affects whether the task and the design agent can be beneficially matched. Different from the traditional one-way assignment mode of

Allocating tasks in extreme teams [PDF]
Extreme teams, large-scale agent teams operating in dynamic environments, are on the horizon. Such environments are problematic for current task allocation algorithms due to the lack of locality in agent interactions. We propose a novel distributed task allocation algorithm for extreme teams, called LA-DCOP, that incorporates three key ideas. First, LA-

Task Allocation Towards Individual Task Quality Assurance in Mobile Crowd Sensing [PDF]
In Mobile Crowd Sensing(MCS), most existing task allocation methods focus on the overall sensing quality of the platform and do not fully consider task competition for workers, budgets and other resources. This cannot effectively guarantee the sensing ...

Fair Task Allocation When Cost of Task Is Multidimensional
We consider the problem of fairly allocating indivisible tasks, focusing on a recently introduced notion of fairness called Minmax share guarantee. Minmax share (MMS) is a term of fairness guarantees that is defined to be the minimum cost that an agent ...

Towards Efficient and Privacy-Preserving Versatile Task Allocation for Internet of Vehicles
Nowadays, task allocation has attracted increasing attention in the Internet of Vehicles. To efficiently allocate tasks to suitable workers, users usually need to publish their task interests to the service provider, which brings a serious threat to ...

Imitation learning for task allocation [PDF]
At the heart of multi-robot task allocation lies the ability to compare multiple options in order to select the best. In some domains this utility evaluation is not straightforward, for example due to complex and unmodeled underlying dynamics or an adversary in the environment. Explicitly modeling these extrinsic influences well enough so that they can

On the complexity of task allocation [PDF]
A detailed study is presented on the combinatorial optimization problem of allocating parallel tasks to a parallel computer. Depending on two application/machine-specific parameters, both a sequential and a parallel optimal allocation phase are shown to exist. A sudden “phase” transition is observed if one of these parameters is varied.
