Task Allocation Mechanism of UAV

open access: yes, 2023
In the past few decades, as a prominent representative of the third generation of intelligent robots, drones have taken the lead in developing from single task to multi machine collaborative work. Research has shown that using multiple drones to search for target areas can expand the search field, improve the efficiency of drones in completing tasks ...

Task Allocation in Multistate Systems

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Informatics, 2010
Multistate task allocation inspired by social-insect polyethism is treated from the viewpoint of proportionally regulating a population between different states, i.e., the system is homeostatic against external disturbance and environmental change.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Distributed Reliable and Efficient Transmission Task Assignment for WSNs

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Task assignment is a crucial problem in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) that may affect the completion quality of sensing tasks. From the perspective of global optimization, a transmission-oriented reliable and energy-efficient task allocation (TRETA) is

Centralized versus market-based approaches to mobile task allocation problem: State-of-the-art [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Centralized approach has been adopted for finding solutions to resource allocation problems (RAPs) in many real-life applications. On the other hand, market-based approach has been proposed as an alternative to solve the problem due to recent advancement

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...
