Cooperative Multi-Robot Task Allocation with Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
This paper deals with the concept of multi-robot task allocation, referring to the assignment of multiple robots to tasks such that an objective function is maximized.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Design and Modelling of Decentralised Task Allocation Mechanisms in Groups of Mobile Agents [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Division of labour is a fundamental field of research within the context of multi-agent (particularly swarm based systems) and multi-robot systems. Eusocial insects, for instance ants and bees, are known to display remarkable capabilities of allocating ...

A Distributed Anytime Algorithm for Dynamic Task Allocation in Multi-Agent Systems

open access: yes, 2011
We introduce a novel distributed algorithm for multi-agent task allocation problems where the sets of tasks and agents constantly change over time. We build on an existing anytime algorithm (fast-max-sum), and give it significant new capabilities: namely,

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Research on Dynamic Task Allocation Algorithm to Improve User Participation in the Witkey Mode

open access: yesAdvances in Multimedia, 2022
The task allocation process in the Witkey mode is dynamic and open, in which Witkey is a rational person. Due to Witkey's individual rationality, in order to make the result of task allocation stable, task allocation must reach the Nash equilibrium ...

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

The skills required for transition to university and study in biological sciences: A student perspective

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Bioscience students were asked for their opinions on the value and teaching of skills. 204 responded that teamwork, time management and study skills are necessary to reach University, that scientific writing, research, laboratory and presentation skills are taught effectively during their studies, while other skills are gained inherently through study ...
