Molecular investigation of TBP allele length:

open access: yes, 2003
Recently, an inherited spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA17) has been attributed to polyglutamine coding expansions within the gene coding for human TATA-box binding protein (TBP). The normal repeat range is 25-42 units with patients having as few as 46 repeats.

A Latent Transition Analysis of Traditional Bullying and Cyberbullying Among Chinese Adolescents: Associations With Life Satisfaction and Depression

open access: yesBehavioral Sciences &the Law, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bullying, both traditional and cyber, has become a public health concern. Nevertheless, few studies have differentiated between traditional bullying and cyberbullying to examine how their interplay shapes distinct bullying involvement profiles and how these profiles link with well‐being and mental health outcomes.

CONSERVED FUNCTIONAL DOMAINS OF THE RNA-POLYMERASE-III GENERAL TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR BRF

open access: yes, 1994
In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, two components of the RNA polymerase III (Pol III) general transcription factor TFIIIB are the TATA-binding protein (TBP) and the B-related factor (BRF), so called because its amino-terminal half is homologous to the Pol II ...

The yeast TATA-binding protein (TBP) core domain assembles with human TBP-associated factors into a functional TFIID complex

open access: yes, 1995
In mammalian and Drosophila cells, the central RNA polymerase II general transcription factor TFIID is a multisubunit complex containing the TATA- binding protein (TBP) and TBP-associated factors (TAFs) bound to the conserved TBP carboxy-terminal core ...

Mass transfer model for two-layer TBP oxidation reactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
To prove that two-layer, TBP-nitric acid mixtures can be safely stored in the canyon evaporators, it must be demonstrated that a runaway reaction between TBP and nitric acid will not occur.

(NH4)2[Tc2O2(S2O7)4]: An Unexpected Technetium(V)‐Sulfate From the Reaction of (NH4)(TcO4) With SO3

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The reaction of the radioactive pertechnetate (99TcO4)− with the oxidizer SO3 leads to blue crystals of (NH4)2[Tc2O2(S2O7)4]. The complex dimeric [Tc2O2(S2O7)4]2− anion exhibits the technetium in the oxidation state V, showing that reduction occurs during the reaction.

The intake of an extract from seeds of Tamarindus indica L. modulates the endocrine function of adult male mice under a high fat diet

open access: yesHeliyon, 2020
TBP is a natural product from Tamarindus indica L. seeds used as a natural remedy in India. This product is an antioxidant and may have beneficial effects on endocrine and metabolic functions.

Scavenging of stored TBP waste

open access: yes, 1955
The reactivation of B-Plant and the continued operation of T-Plant under the 4X Program have led to the problem of obtaining additional underground tankage in both 200 East Area and 200 West Area for the storage of B-Plant metal waste, second cycle waste

Cationic Sulfonium‐Based Tripodal Ligand and Its Rh(I) Complexes

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
We report a cationic EP3‐type tripodal ligand based on an aromatic sulfonium cation (E = S+) along with a series of its Rh(I) complexes. Structural, spectroscopic, electrochemical, and computational analyses of these complexes compared to isostructural analogs (E = Si− or P) reveal pronounced electron density depletion at Rh in the sulfonium congener ...
