The proliferative potential of mast cells after activation for 3-4h was found to be decreased, which suggests that mast cell degranulation and cell proliferation are differentially regulated.

Schematic summary of the experimentally supported mechanism of DHL in hepatocellular carcinoma. Dehydrocostus lactone (DHL), a sesquiterpene lactone derived from Aucklandia lappa, directly engages protein tyrosine kinase 7 (PTK7), as supported by molecular docking, CETSA, and DARTS assays.

TFAP2 transcription factors are regulators of lipid droplet biogenesis
How trafficking pathways and organelle abundance adapt in response to metabolic and physiological changes is still mysterious, although a few transcriptional regulators of organellar biogenesis have been identified in recent years.

Therapeutic potential of natural products in cancer immunotherapy: Advances and challenges
This review systematically outlines the mechanisms underlying tumour immunotherapy resistance and elucidates the role of natural products in enhancing therapeutic efficacy as immunomodulatory adjuvants. Abstract Immunotherapy has emerged as a clinically pivotal approach in cancer treatment, but its application remains limited to a small subset of ...

Pea3 transcription factors and wnt1-induced mouse mammary neoplasia.
The role of the PEA3 subfamily of Ets transcription factors in breast neoplasia is controversial. Although overexpression of PEA3 (E1AF/ETV4), and of the related factors ERM (ETV5) and ER81 (ETV1), have been observed in human and mouse breast tumors ...

The gut microbiota metabolite indole ‐ 3 ‐ propionic acid(IPA) enhanced the inhibitory effect of SCB on tumor growth in HCC mice. IPA upregulated IL‐12A expression through facilitating acetylation of H3K27 in DCs. IPA elevated IL‐12A expression in DCs to promote CD8+ T cell anti‐tumor immunity and ultimately enhances the efficacy of SCB therapy against

In the Drosophila ovarian niche, an E‐cadherin‐to‐N‐cadherin switch, mediated by Wnt‐mir‐994 signalling, is repurposed to ensure niche resilience. This compensatory mechanism maintains niche integrity and stem cell support upon E‐cadherin loss, revealing a robustness circuit.

En2, Pax2/5 and Tcf-4 transcription factors cooperate in patterning the Xenopus brain
Among Xenopus Lef/Tcfs, XTcf-4 has an outstanding role. In early development it is located exclusively in the midbrain where it is essential for midbrain and isthmus development. In order to identify transcription factors responsible for the restriction of XTcf-4 expression we isolated a 3.8kb fragment of the XTcf-4 promoter.

Background The Wnt signaling pathway is activated by mutations in the APC and β-catenin genes in many types of human cancer. β-catenin is stabilized by these mutations and activates transcription in part by acting as a bridge between Tcf/LEF proteins and
