Staff Preferences for Operating Theatre Scrub Attire
A Children's Hospital operating theatre staff survey showed preferences for dark blue over light blue scrubs, and those with an elastic waistband and trouser style pockets. Thematic reasons include: comfort/fit/availability, professionalism, functionality/practicality, dignity/self‐esteem, modesty/privacy, stains/sweat/dirt and safety.
