Electrostatic Self‐Assembly Induced Nest‐Like MXene Networks on Fabric for Ultra‐Broadband Flexible Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, an electrostatically self‐assembled WPU‐MXene@FC flexible fabric constructs a “nest‐like” structure on fibers, building construct MXene multiple loss paths, achieving ultra‐wideband absorption of 25.3–1200 GHz in a thickness of 1.8 mm, while also exhibiting superhydrophobicity, acid and alkali resistance, and bending resistance ...

Terahertz imaging with antenna coupled detectors

open access: yes, 2009
Practical cost effective implementations of imaging systems operating at terahertz frequencies are currently not available. Specifically, imaging at terahertz frequencies still requires advances in technologies such as detectors and sources and imaging ...

Research on Direct Detection Method and Performance of Single-photon Counting Terahertz Radar

open access: yesLeida xuebao
The conventional terahertz radar suffers from limited operation range for long-distance, noncooperative target detection due to the low transmitter power and atmospheric attenuation effect, both of which pose a hindrance in meeting the requirements of ...

A Dual‐Channel Synergistic Ultrasensitive Biosensor for Tumor Liquid Biopsy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Liquid biopsy technology, which detects circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in cerebrospinal fluid, plays a crucial role in the early diagnosis and precision treatment of gliomas. However, the intrinsically low abundance and rapid clearance of ctDNA pose substantial challenges for conventional analytical techniques, such as droplet digital PCR and ...

Wavefront Line‐Scan Imaging Via a Single‐Pixel Detector

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose and demonstrate a wavefront line‐scan imaging paradigm that integrates 1D spatial light modulation with single‐pixel detection. Benefiting from 1D modulation, not only is the imaging speed improved, but also the storage of modulation patterns is reduced by several orders of magnitude.

Coupled Vacancy and Phonon‐Scattering Engineering Drive Defect Evolution Toward Multifunctional High‐Performance Bi2Te3 Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ZnSb reduces carrier concentration and suppresses Te volatilization, while Se substitution within QLs softens phonons and enhances anharmonicity. Swapped bilayers near twin boundaries strengthen phonon scattering and interlayer bonding. As a result, the optimal sample achieves an ultra‐high zT ∼1.51, cooling temperature difference of ∼70 K, power ...

High-speed, low-noise thermoelectric graphene detectors at terahertz frequencies

open access: yes, 2020
We report room temperature terahertz detection in hBN/graphene/hBN heterostructures, integrated in top-gated field effect transistors. The record combination of high-speed (response time < 1 ns) and high sensitivity (noise equivalent power ~ 100 pWHz ...

Terahertz response of YBCO HEB homodyne detectors

open access: yes, 2011
We report on the direct response of hot electron bolometers (HEB) used as homodyne detectors. These bolometers were tested at frequencies 0.1-1.6 THz and for a range of temperatures around 77 K.

Tunable High‐Performance Metamaterial Filters Based on Novel SRR Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on two novel SRR configurations and two independent SRR integration approaches, four tunable bandpass metamaterial filters were fabricated with an ultra‐thin ceramic substrate. Among them, SM‐2 achieves over 97% electromagnetic wave transmittance, with a minimal 1.15% deviation in its resonant frequency prediction, making them promising ...
