Exponential fast terminal sliding mode control
2010 Chinese Control and Decision Conference, 2010Improving fuzzy neural network (FNN) systems approximate unknown nonlinear continuous functions is proposed. The concept of exponential fast terminal sliding mode is introduced into the learning algorithm. The Lyapunov stability analysis guarantees that the approximation is stable and converges to the unknown function with improved speed.

Exponential Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control
2011 Third International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2011A new learning algorithm for fuzzy neural network (FNN) systems to approximate unknown nonlinear continuous functions is proposed. The concept of exponential fast terminal sliding mode is introduced into the learning algorithm to improve approximation ability.

Terminal sliding mode control for aeroelastic systems
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2012An aeroelastic system is a nonlinear system with two freedoms, i.e., the plunge displacement and the pitch angle, in a dynamic system model. A chaos effect or a limit cycle oscillation is presumably attributed to the nonlinear effect of the pitch angle mentioned above or the interaction between the aerodynamic behaviors.

Design of Terminal Sliding Modes in the presence of Control Bounds
2019 IEEE Conference on Control Technology and Applications (CCTA), 2019Terminal sliding modes (TSM) and their variants have been applied in diverse systems, most notably robotic manipulators. The primary motivations for their application are that they allow for fast and finite-time convergence of the states being controlled to their desired values.

Observer based terminal sliding mode control
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2013Abstract A new observer based terminal sliding mode control (TSMC) approach is proposed for a class of second order nonlinear systems which can be used to robotic manipulators, space crafts, satellites and so on. By using equivalent output injection sliding mode observer (SMO) method, the new designed TSMC can achieve finite-time stability ...

Event-Triggered Nonsingular Terminal Sliding-Mode Control
IEEE Transactions on CyberneticsThis article studies event-triggered nonsingular terminal sliding-mode control (TSMC) for a class of nonlinear systems. First, a static event-triggering mechanism is implemented in the nonsingular TSMC design. It is shown that the sliding variable can reach the quasi-sliding-mode band and the states can converge to a neighborhood of the equilibrium ...

Continuous adaptive terminal sliding-mode control
2016 IEEE 11th Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2016This paper proposes a continuous adaptive terminal sliding-mode control for nonlinear systems. The new terminal sliding-mode manifold can enable the elimination of the singularity problem associated with conventional terminal sliding-mode control. Two different schemes for continuous terminal sliding-mode controller design are utilized for the control ...

Terminal Sliding Mode Control of Microgrid Inverter Systems
International Journal of Circuit Theory and ApplicationsABSTRACTTo enhance the power quality of microgrid inverters and reduce the influence of changes in inductance parameters and external disturbances on the direct power control of the inverter system, a terminal sliding mode control strategy with a variable exponential power reaching law has been proposed.

Terminal sliding mode attitude control for satellite
2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2010A finite time control method based on terminal sliding mode (TSM) is presented for satellite attitude control system in this paper. Using the concepts of finite time stability and TSM, a finite time stable sliding mode is designed, and then a continuous TSM finite time controller using the inverse dynamic method is designed for the second-order dynamic

Improved linear sliding mode controller of buck converters through adding terminal sliding mode
2017 11th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), 2017In order to solve the problems of the traditional single closed-loop linear sliding mode (LSM) controller of Buck converter, such as slow response and bad steady accuracy, a new double-loop control structure and a terminal sliding mode (TSM) controller is introduced in this paper.
