Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

An RTL-Based General Synthesis Methodology for Device-Independent Ternary Logic Circuits

open access: yesIEEE Access
Ternary logic circuits are considered a high-potential alternative that can continue the technological advance of binary logic. Current studies in ternary logic focus on two aspects: One focuses on designing specific ternary circuits (such as adders ...

Modeling the Transport and Volumetric Properties of Solutions Containing Polymer and Electrolyte with New Model [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2018
A new theoretical model based on the local composition concept (TNRF-mNRTL model) was proposed to express the short-range contribution of the excess Gibbs energy for the solutions containing polymer and electrolyte. This contribution of interaction along

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Noise tolerant and power optimized ternary combinational circuits for arithmetic logic unit

open access: yese-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy
This article proposed the use of an efficient ternary multiplexer as a building block in the implementation of ternary adders and multipliers. These designs aim to reduce the power consumption and minimize the transistor counts while maintaining low ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Ternary cyclotomic numbers and ternary Jacobi sums

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
<p>Cyclotomic numbers and Jacobi sums, introduced over two centuries ago by Gauss and Jacobi, respectively, are pivotal in number theory and find wide applications in combinatorial designs, coding theory, cryptography, and information theory. The cyclotomic problem, focused on determining all cyclotomic numbers, or equivalently evaluating all ...

Regular ternary triangular forms

open access: yes, 2019
An integer of the form $T_x=\frac{x(x+1)}2$ for some positive integer $x$ is called a triangular number. A ternary triangular form $aT_{x}+bT_{y}+cT_{z}$ for positive integers $a,b$ and $c$ is called regular if it represents every positive integer that ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
