On-Device Mobile Application Testing

open access: yes2025 IEEE/ACM 12th International Conference on Mobile Software Engineering and Systems (MOBILESoft)
Abstract: Ensuring the quality of Android apps presents a persistent challenge; more than half of the installed apps are uninstalled within 30 days of being downloaded because of poor quality. Nevertheless, functional testing of mobile apps is challenging because of the sheer variety of devices, operating systems, and network conditions.

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

Paramagnetic Rim Lesions Are Associated With Trans‐Synaptic Degeneration of the Visual Pathway in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Retrograde trans‐synaptic degeneration (rTSD) from posterior visual pathway lesions in multiple sclerosis (MS) is characterized by hemi‐macular ganglion cell‐inner plexiform layer (GCIPL) thinning and contralateral visual field loss.

Characterization of external defibrillator output and its impact on defibrillation protection of medical equipment

open access: yesResuscitation Plus
Background: Defibrillators constitute a critical component of emergency care for ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. Advances in defibrillation technology point to the potential need for reassessing current requirements for ...

IV Thrombolysis Facilitates Interventional Reperfusion in Non‐Cardioembolic but Not Cardioembolic Stroke

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) before thrombectomy for ischemic stroke may alter clot structure and procedural performance. We investigated how IVT relates to thrombectomy metrics across stroke etiologies. Methods We performed a time‐to‐event analysis of consecutive patients with anterior circulation large vessel occlusion (acLVO ...

The Study of Geomechanical Condition of Unstable Rocks in the Vicinity of Mine Working Junctions

open access: yesГорные науки и технологии, 2019
The relevance of research of material strain nature based on physical models equivalent to rocks is substantiated. To identify the dependencies and mechanism of unstable rock strain in the vicinity of mine working junctions, an experimental technique has

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

Time-dependent bond strength development and pH dynamics of conventional and self-adhesive resin cements for lithium disilicate restorations

open access: yesFrontiers in Oral Health
IntroductionThis study investigated shear bond strengths of conventional and self-adhesive resin cements bonded to lithium disilicate at different curing and setting times, and examined pH changes during setting to assess potential pulpal effects.

Alternative methodology for decrease the variability of tensile and shear adhesion evaluation in rendering mortar [PDF]

open access: yesRevista IBRACON de Estruturas e Materiais
The main mechanical properties that indicate the development of adhesion between mortars and substrates are tensile strength, shear strength, and bond length. However, most studies focus solely on tensile bond strength. This study proposes an alternative

Effectiveness of rTMS on Working Memory and Inhibitory Impairments in Patients With Post‐Stroke Executive Deficits

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...
