Cotton is a global crop cultivated worldwide, yet a significant portion of the cotton genome remains functionally unannotated. Attempts have been made to automate this annotation but have been unable to completely bridge the gap. Human curation is still needed for accurate interpretations and predictions to be made.

Foramsulfuron remains effective on Pro‐197 Poa annua, but co‐formulation with thiencarbazone reduces efficacy due to limited activity and antagonism. Therefore, foramsulfuron + thiencarbazone should be used in fields without ALS‐resistant weeds to ensure effective in‐crop control.

In vitrotetraploid induction and generation of tetraploids from mixoploids inDioscorea zingiberensis
This article describes an efficient colchicine-mediated technique for the in vitro induction of tetraploids in Dioscorea zingiberensis and its confirmation by flow cytometry. Buds immersed in 0.2% colchicine solution for 36 hours prior to culture induced as high as 35.6% tetraploid plants. Colchicine-induced tetraploids remained stable after six months
