ABSTRACT Gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction cancer, primarily adenocarcinoma, originate in the stomach's mucosa. Peritoneal metastasis is a common pattern in gastric cancer. The neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (PLR), as systemic inflammation indicators, change before clinical symptoms, aiding early ...

ABSTRACT To investigate the involvement of metalloproteinases (MMPs) in the context of endurance training and their interactions with renin‐angiotensin signalling (RAS) in stress‐induced pathophysiological responses. Trained rats were submitted to 8‐weeks of endurance treadmill training with chronic mild stress (CMS), TS rats, and without CMS (T).

CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated mstnb1 disruption enhances growth in rainbow trout
Abstract The effects of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/Cas9‐mediated disruption of the myostatin gene (mstnb1) on the growth performance of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were evaluated. Two specific guide RNAs (gRNAs) targeting the first exon of the target gene were co‐injected into fertilized eggs.

Abstract figure legend Graphical abstract of the proposed Ro5‐4864 mechanism of action via p62‐Keap1‐Nrf2 axis in heart failure. TSPO, the 18‐kDa mitochondrial translocator protein of the outer mitochondrial membrane, can directly interact with p62 (also known as SQSTM1), which is crucial for the degradation of damaged mitochondria by autophagy ...
